Hey there everybody! Check out this weeks installment of LES THUGS! Les Thugs is a webcomic I created with best friend and have been doing every week since last September. This weeks issue features a guest appearance by the amazing artist Sina Grace! He works on the book Li’l Depressed Boy with the equally amazing Steven Struble! You may also know him as the editor on books such as The Walking Dead, Invincible, Thieve of Thieves, and pretty much any other book published under Robert Kirkman’s Skybound imprint over at Image Comics. So check out the comic if you dig odd original content, Sina Grace, or if your bored and have nothing better else to do! I hope you enjoy and visit www.lesthugs.com every wednesday for a brand new strip!

New Girl for Li’l Depressed Boy?
Posted on 03/02/12 at 2:00 PM in Articles, Items by
Last weekend while at the Image Expo, I got to chat with the two creators behind one of current favorite books, Li’L Depressed Boy, S. Steven Struble and Sina Grace. We got a chance to chat about all things LDB, and I even chatted with Sina Grace on video (which you can see next week).
As we were chatting, I was telling Struble and Grace about how much I enjoy LDB and how it fills that “Relationship Book” genre void for me. I’ve particularly enjoyed and cringed at LDB’s girl troubles with his crush on Jazmin. When the topic of LDB’s romantic interests came up, I saw artist Sina Grace glance down at his sketch book, and try to cover something up and sure enough it was some sketches of a new girl in Li’l Depressed Boy’s life. I pushed for details but all Grace would reveal was her name, Spike.
Once the cat was out of the bag, I coaxed Grace into sharing his sketches with me so I could share them with you.
What do you think? Could this be a new love interest for L’il Depressed Boy? Let’s hope so and it goes better than it did with Jazz. I’ll be reading Li’l Depressed Boy to find out. If you’re not reading this book and are looking for some fun, emo-style relationship comics, then this book is a must read.
I you want to catch up on Li’l Depressed Boy, you can grab the trades on Barnes & Noble or Amazon or you can read it digitally
she looks just like Zooey Deschanel. Can’t wait to see where LDB is off to!

The Li’l Depressed Boy Crossover Day Dreams #1: Adventure Time
Was reading the comic book version of Adventure Time (with a sweet, sweet, sweet Chris Houghton cover) earlier. So was Zach Trover (I bet he got that also super-awesome Jeffrey Brown cover). We decided to draw LDB, if he lived in the Land of Ooo.
Artwork by Zach Trover. Colours by me, Struble.
A-FUCKIN-MAZING!
